The Knights Council #8103 has raised over $150,000 in charitable donations that have been immediately distributed to fund our charitable initiatives - and to local groups that need our financial support to continue their good works in our community. We are a service organization and our members volunteer monthly to deliver sandwiches to the homeless; staff VA hospital visits; assist with Bingo at Stern Village; and founded a Sunday Eucharistic Prison Ministry.
The UNPLANNED movie preview and mini-rally event energized the Pro-Life movement in Connecticut galvanizing the co-operation of many CT-based Pro-Life organizations.
Stern Village Bingo
The Council #8013 has served for years as volunteers to help run this monthly Bingo event for our local senior citizens at Stern Village in Trumbull, CT.
Feed The Homeless
Our Knights make a monthly weekend "sandwich run" to feed the homeless in Bridgeport, CT.
Our security-cleared Knights work on a monthly basis with prisoners at the Bridgeport Correctional Center (BCC) on a Prison Eucharistic Ministry.
Charity Golf Event
This is the Council's premiere charity event of the year. The proceeds benefits the Father Linck Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Theresa School - and benefits a number of other good works the Council funds throughout the calendar year.
Our Knights Annual Christmas Dance proceeds funds our "Christmas Presents for the Needy" and "Winter Coats for Kids" charities.
The Knights and the Sons of Saint Joseph alternate in providing both Pancake and Breakfast Sandwiches after Sunday Mass to all who join us in the St. Theresa School Gym.
The Council #8013 works closely with the Sons of St. Joseph and many of the St. Theresa parish ministries in this joyous gathering of our parish families from "new borns to 90's" with music, food, carnival rides and games for all - the fellowship and spirit are unbounded.
Tootsie Roll Drive
The Council #8013 participates annually in our longest running Knights of Columbus national fundraiser - the Tootsie Roll Drive. Proceeds support People with Intellectual Disabilities, such as the MORE Group of Trumbull, CT.
